Al Jamiatul Islamiyah (Darul Uloom Bolton) is seeking to recruit a Director of Education who will lead the secular secondary and sixth form provision for boys at the institution.
This is an exciting opportunity in a small institution with 313 boys which is progressive in its development year in year. It will be for the Director of Education to lead our forward looking institution and enable the students to achieve and surpass their potential in partnership with the community.
The Director of Education will be responsible for providing strategic leadership whilst leading a team on the day-to day running of both the Secondary and Sixth form aspect of the Darul-uloom.
The ideal skills profile would be for a qualified teacher and proven results delivery. You are likely to have managed a department of teachers and can demonstrate how personally and through working with your team have achieved a step change in the quality and quantity of output.
Being tenacious in your approach, you love to drive up standards of work of pupils and can motivate, train and manage other teachers to also share and practice to those high standards.
We have recently developed a strong Governing body and leadership team who will be supporting this role to achieve the best possible outcome for our students.
