The Students and Staff alike at AJI realise that poverty exists even in so called “First World” countries like England. To help combat this issue our institute has devised a food distribution scheme.
Every month on a fixed date, students pack food items into containers for distribution. The food items are supplied both by the Institute, as well as students bringing their own contributions. These items are then taken to a local Homeless Food Distribution Shelter, where students will assist organisers in stocking and distributing food.
This scheme not only benefits the the recipients but also teaches students to understand the value of everyday necessities, a blessing often overlooked.
